Made in Japan as part of the professional grade "Musician" series of basses, this is a 1980 fretless model that was factory loaded with a pair of Super 4 pickups. Neck-through-body construction on mahogany with bookmatched ash top attached to a maple and walnut neck with a fret-less ebony fingerboard with small offset white dot position markers and a darkened ash headstock, this one weighs 4.6kg's.
The active module was removed from this one before it arrived with us so it's a simple passive loadout with all the other knobs doing nothing. Loaded with flatwounds and playing great, no breaks or repairs and plays with a straight neck and fully functional truss. There's some wear to the fretboard but nothing structural.
