Fully restored Marantz 2285b Receiver

This unit is in beautiful shape. Sounds amazing and is ready to blow your doors off!!!

Unit was deep cleaned, all pots cleaned and lubed. Any suspect caps replaced with Hi end replacements and checked to spec. Ready to go.

Has a wooden case on the unit. This cases can go for as much as $350 or more. I think it should go with the receiver. The case is in good shape. Not sure what wood was used when it was made. It is fairly basic. No box or instructions.

The Marantz 2285B is a legendary, highly collectible solid-state stereo receiver produced from 1977 to 1980. Highly regarded for its "warm" pure analog sound, it delivers a robust 85 watts per channel into 8 ohms and features Marantz’s iconic champagne faceplate, blue dial illumination, and Gyro-Touch tuning.
