1965 Fender Vibrolux Reverb (Blackface) — Fully Serviced
Serial number A03030. This is a pristine example of the most sought-after version of the Vibrolux Reverb — the 1965 blackface AA864. Fully serviced by NY Amp Works, one of New York City's most respected vintage amp technicians.
Loaded with a premium tube complement including JJ and Tung-Sol tubes throughout, and fitted with a pair of Jupiter 10LC speakers — widely regarded as the finest modern reproduction of the original Oxford and CTS speakers that made these amps legendary.
The blackface Vibrolux Reverb is a player's amp — 35 watts through two 10-inch speakers, with Fender's classic reverb and tremolo circuits at their absolute best. Equally at home in the studio or on the gig, and loud enough to cut through any mix while staying clean and articulate. Lots of headroom.
A rare opportunity to own a properly sorted, stage-ready vintage Fender without the usual gamble of unknown condition. Weight around 40 lbs.
