Hot-rodded and mod-friendly version of the already great Special 6, adding an extra preamp tube for substantially more gain on tap along with a tube-buffered effects loop and the super-useful Watts control. Can go from small-amp crunch down to quiet bedroom levels without losing the feel, good for recording or home setup. The extra gain stage pushes this one past vintage breakup into thick overdrive and lead sounds, the Depth control helps dial the low end.
