Very nice unit. Was fully tested and works as it should with power supply. Also works with batteries but needs to have the battery terminals cleaned cause it likes to turn on an off till you get the batteries in the right spot.

The Boss DR-220 (released in 1985 by Roland's Boss division) is a classic, portable, 12-bit digital drum machine. It features 32 preset rhythms, 32 user-programmable patterns, and a Song Mode. It operates on both AC power and standard AA batteries, making it great for on-the-go beat-making. Two variations of the DR-220 were released: 

• DR-220A ("Acoustic"): Features acoustic percussion and drum kit sounds inspired by the Roland TR-707.
• DR-220E ("Electronic"): Features synthesized, electronic drum, and percussion sounds suited for electronic sets and hybrid drumming.
