The Yamaha DTX500 Drum Trigger Module is the sound module and "brain" behind the Yamaha DTX550K Electronic Drum Kit. This affordable, compact drum module does not sacrifice quality with 427 carefully-chosen sounds that handle both subtle Snare-work and dynamic, powerful drum strokes with ease and detail.

The DTX500 features 50 preset drum kits and 20 user banks for storing your own. There are 12 1/4" inputs for pads and triggers, and an Aux line input for CD or MP3 players. A sequencer features practice songs, metronome click and record / play capability.

50 preset drum kits have been carefully chosen to cover a diverse range of genres, including rock, funk, jazz, reggae, and latin.
