Made in the Memphis factory, the Gibson ES-195 is a unique model that combines features from some of Gibson’s most iconic hollowbody guitars. Manufactured in fairly small numbers, the ES-195 features a laminate Maple body with and arched top and Florentine cutaway, reminiscent of classic Gibson jazz guitars like the ES-175. The Maple neck features a Rosewood fingerboard with pearl split diamond inlays and a Trini Lopez style headstock, with a slim ‘C’ shape profile that is effortlessly comfortable to play.
The body is fitted with a set of P-94 pickups, offering a beefier tone than a standard set of P90s, yet with far more clarity than a typical humbucker pickup would have. The resulting tone is deep and warm but with plenty of articulation, making it perfect for clean jazz and overdriven rock playing in equal measure. The guitar also features a factory fitted Bigsby vibrato, and includes its original Gibson hard case.
Overall in great condition, minimal signs of play, frets are in great shape, no knocks or dings. Rare Guitar.
