Original vintage SERVICED 1960’s Klemt Echolette M-40 tube amplifier in excellent playing condition!
For the uninitiated, these were the same amps the beatles used in their Hamburg days, basically a 4 input dual rectified el-84 Vox AC-30 style circuit in a portable head case. It sounds… very AC-30! Some nice sparkle and shimmer at lower gain, and full on ROAR when pushed.
These magic boxes are still a bit under the radar, hence the sub-absurd price for an amazing 60’s tube amplifier, but they are being discovered. When serviced, (and they do need servicing after 70 years!) they are just amazing. This one has been fully recapped, retubed, and fitted with a modern IEC power cable for ease of use. Lots of voltages for wherever you rock, sounds best on USA 117 when the selector is on 130v. Perfect “brown”-ed out tone.
