Rock"n"Roll sounds so good on this Vintage 1969 Gibson SG . This one has definately seen some play over the years and for good reason ! It's killa . Original refinished body and neck with no breaks or fractures . It retains it;s original T-Top neck pickup and Patent number bridge pickup that sound AMAZING . The potentiometers and electronics appear original so this SG works as it should . LIkely to be the original frets however they have been levelled and dressed at some stage as the binding nibs are no longer obvious . The original Factory Maestro tremolo is in place and works well. The pickup cavity routing is an original 3 pickup route as used by Gibson on SG's during this period .
There has been several changes over the years including tuners replaced with schaller tuners (holes pro filled) Original bridge replaced with genuine ABR-1 Gibson bridge . Original witch hat knobs replaced with genuine Gibson items . Non original pickguard (we think) and non original pickup surrounds . Most pickguard screws replaced .
All that being said with this is one great guitar that looks , sounds and plays so damn good . Still way cheaper than a CS Murphy lab and way cooler!!!!
Includes original "green" case that has a broken handle .
