Good condition Fender Mustang Bass in Competition Red. All original, no breaks. The original finish on this example looks excellent in person. This example has also been played, as in shown with the typical play wear and weathering that tends to pop up on this models. This one sounds exceptional. The original pickups have an exceptionally clear low end, while producing some very pleasing pick definition when played harder. The racing stripes on this model are also very much in tact. Original tuners turn well and hold tune nicely. Intonation is on. No scratchy pots etc. The original pickguard on this example has warped a bit as is common on this models, as pictured. Missing one string ferrule. There is some nice checking happening throughout the entire body. This is simply an exceptionally good sounding example of a classic mustang bass design, and is ready to go for a live or in studio setting.
