A compact offshoot of the studio standard, the Yamaha NS-10MMT carries the DNA of the original NS-10 into a smaller, more flexible format. What started life in 1978 as a home hi-fi speaker ended up becoming one of the most relied-on studio references ever made, known for exposing the rough edges in a mix rather than flattering them.
The NS-10MMT follows that same idea in a scaled-down, bass-reflex design aimed at surround and compact monitoring setups. It's tight, mid-forward and honest, the kind of speaker you check mixes on rather than relax into. Designed to be mounted or used in multi-speaker systems, it works well for editing, reference listening, or filling out a surround rig where space is limited.
