Now available, an original 1964 'Blackface' Fender Twin Reverb export model.

This amp is a well loved example of a “blackface” pre-CBS export model Fender Twin Reverb, featuring a 85 watt output powering 2x12” speakers, across the regular two channels: vibrato and normal. This example would have been sold in Australia new, having a factory 240v power transformer.

Cosmetically this amp in very good shape overall, with a few scuffs and scratches. The grille cloth remains in great condition, as does the badge, handle, knobs, and faceplate.

Electronically this amp has had a few modifications, the most obvious being 2x Eminence Legend 1218 - 150 watt speakers (the original speakers are included), aside from this it has had a few electrolytic filter capacitors replaced and the pre-amp tubes. The four original 6L6 power tubes remain, as do the original power and output transformers all dating to early 1964.

All in all a great original example of a pre CBS Twin Reverb that sounds fantastic, includes its original foot switch.
