☆RARE "B.B. KING CROWN" HEADSTOCK INLAY☆

Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer this beautiful ES-355 B.B. King "Lucille" model from 2012, made at the Gibson Custom Shop in Memphis, Tennessee.

Typically produced with the "Lucille" script headstock inlay, this particular model is adorned with the Rare "B.B. King Crown" headstock inlay, a rather fitting nod to the great man's "King of the Blues" moniker.

Weighing in at 4.25kg (9.36lbs) with a laminated Maple semi-hollow body, solid Maple center block, no F-holes (to reduce feedback), multi-ply binding throughout, 3-piece Maple set neck with Rounded "C" shape profile, Ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, Mother-of-pearl block inlays and 43.05mm (1.695") Corian nut.

Equipped with its original Gibson 490R (Neck) and 498T (Bridge) humbuckers, hand-wired control assembly consisting of 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 6-position varitone switch, 500k Gibson logo CTS pots, Switchcraft 3-way switch, stereo/mono output jacks, caps and wiring which can all be accessed via the rear control cavity plate.

Bridge: 8.02k

Original gold hardware with a '70s-era TP-6 Fine Tuning tailpiece, Nashville-style tune-o-matic bridge, gold truss rod cover, and smooth, sturdy Grover Rotomatic tuners.

Original Pickguard, knobs and switch tip.

Comes with its original Gibson Hardshell Case, Certificate Of Authenticity (COA), Gold Warranty Card, and hangtags.

Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario 10-46 strings, frets cleaned and polished, fingerboard cleaned and lightly oiled, truss rod tested and works as it should, electronics tested and working perfectly, all hardware cleaned and secured.

Frets are excellent, playability is superb.

Overall condition is GOOD with moderate playwear and scratches throughout, gold hardware has tarnished over time, no breaks or structural issues.
