The Graetz Profi 306 is a distinctive 1975 German discrete Hi-Fi receiver that stands out for its unconventional black plastic casing, a deliberate design choice that departed from the era's typical wood and metal aesthetics to project a professional, studio-grade image. Boasting a robust internal architecture with over 80 transistors and a powerful 2×80W music power output stage (2x50W sinus @4 ohms) built around 2N3055 transistors, it was engineered for durability and versatility, capable of driving 4–16 ohm speaker loads via unique 2-pin DIN connectors.
