Now available on consignment, an early 1965 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins.
This particular example of a mid 60s 6120 presents in overall decent shape, with typical signs of play wear including some dings and fret wear mostly in frets 3-12.
As is typical on this era Gretsch, there is some binding rot mainly around the neck heel, however overall the binding is in decent shape with a few cracks to note on the edges of the body.
Features include 2x Filtertron humbucking pickups, a laminate maple body with back-pad, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, Grover tuners, and a Gretsch branded Bigsby vibrato. Other features include the double cut body shape, horse shoe inlay on the headstock, and painted f-holes as well.
The original frets are low but playable, and the guitar has been recently setup in the shop being ready to play.
Includes its original hardshell case that is in fair but solid condition.
