Marantz 2265 vs. 2265BWhile both models offer 65 WPC, there are distinct differences between the original 2265 and the later 2265B (produced circa 1977–1979)
- Design: The original 2265 typically features a black-and-blue dial face behind silver, while the 2265B moved toward an "all-silver" look with silver-on-silver nomenclature.
- Controls: The 2265 uses a slider for balance control, whereas the 2265B often features a traditional balance knob and adds a Midrange tone control.
- Build: Some collectors prefer the original non-B models for perceived sturdier build quality, as the B models were slightly lighter (~32 lbs vs 35 lbs).
