Guitar not included. Case only.

Here is a circa 1959–1960 Fender Stratocaster case. This is the “knuckle-buster” variety. It gets its name from the presence of the center latch right beneath the handle, where your knuckles would bang into it. At some point Fender moved that latch a few inches over to avoid the problem.

I believe this is the first brown Tolex version of this case right after they moved on from the tweed cases.

The case has minor wear and tear, but is in very nice shape for its age. All the latches and latch springs work as they should, with no missing components. The interior lining has a couple of spots on it, which could easily be cleaned up if desired.

It has housed a Stratocaster for many years, but it is the same case that would have originally gone with a Telecaster as well.
