【Grain】

Designed for sonic clarity and excellent playability, this model features a 25-inch scale length and a compound-radius fretboard. It employs specific neck joint techniques and a string-through-body design to ensure efficient vibration transfer between the strings, neck, and body, alongside carefully selected tonewoods that prioritize acoustic resonance. By blending traditional guitar-making methods with cutting-edge technology, the instrument is capable of delivering the diverse sounds required in modern music.

【Instrument Characteristics】

The first thing that catches the eye is the Philippine Ebony top, which boasts a unique grain pattern. While ebony is typically associated with a solid jet-black appearance, Philippine Ebony is distinguished by a beautiful figure featuring a brown base accented with distinctive black streaks—resembling the grain of the equally rare Pale Moon Ebony. Philippine Ebony is currently an extremely rare material facing the threat of extinction. Often referred to as "Ironwood" due to its exceptional hardness, it delivers a sound characterized by a remarkably clear attack, excellent note separation, and a rich, powerful resonance.

【Sound】

The instrument offers a rich midrange with great sustain, while the high frequencies are rounded and "sweet" rather than piercing or harsh. The low end is tight and defined, avoiding any "boomy" muddiness. Thanks to the hardness of the Philippine Ebony, the note definition is clear and responsive, striking a superb balance that avoids sounding overly mild. At full volume, the tone is powerful and robust; however, rolling back the volume transforms the sound into a more vintage, "woody" character. This responsiveness makes it easy to express picking nuances, ensuring the guitar sounds excellent even when the volume is turned down. [Specifications & Details]

Rare Honduras Mahogany is used for the body and neck, offering faster response and superior tonal clarity compared to standard mahogany. Ebony is utilized for the fretboard, truss rod cover, tailpiece, knobs, and back plate, while the pickguard is made of maple. The instrument features an all-lacquer gloss finish.

It is equipped with an original "Vintage Custom Set" of pickups; based on a vintage sound profile, they feature a lower coil turn count, resulting in a wide tonal range. The neck shape offers a comfortable grip—neither too thick nor too thin. To the touch, it feels slightly thicker than the standard "60s style" grip found on typical Les Paul models.

[Condition]

There are fine scuffs and small dings overall. A somewhat noticeable ding is present on the side of the body near the jack, and there is slight finish chipping on the back of the neck near the 11th fret (bass side); neither issue affects playability. Scuffs are visible near the strap pin at the bottom of the body.

Neck: No issues with warping or twisting.

Frets: Virtually no wear.

Truss Rod: Plenty of adjustment room remaining.
