Rare '69 Mustang reissue in Old Candy Apple Red with matching headstock and 'Ivory' tuning pegs.
Fender Japan sold these in 2006-2007. This example has a neck dated to 1999-2002 and is very similar in shape and finish to Fender's other offset reissues from the mid '90s (Slim C / Oval).
Basswood body, 24" scale and 40mm nut make this very light and easy to play.
Although it's a naturally bright guitar, the pickups are meaty, and you only need to roll some tone off to get dark, driven tones. The control scheme allows for in and out-of-phase positions for extra versatility.
The finish is a dark candy apple red and is in great condition with only a few small nicks & chips, as well as a crack on the back corner. Frets are in excellent condition with no visible wear.
Set up with 9-46 Nickel plated Elixirs & playing beautifully.
