The Axe-Fx III MARK II is an upgrade from the Axe-Fx III in terms of display and preset storage.

The original Axe-Fx made an impact by being the first in the industry to incorporate military-grade DSP in a commercial product. Using the power of this DSP enabled a level of detail and realism never before achieved in any other product.
Axe-Fx II extended this concept by incorporating two DSPs, and Axe-Fx III continues this philosophy while further evolving it.
The main audio engine is a Texas Instruments "KeyStone" DSP. This processor is the most powerful DSP available, with more than twice the performance of the processor used in Axe-Fx II.
