Now available on consignment, a circa 1964 Hofner Galaxie 173!
This original Hofner is in pretty decent shape for its age, with the original vinyl body showing little signs of deterioration.
The 3x original Hofner pickups sound fantastic, with the bridge pickup having been rewound at one point. It also includes a floating tremolo system that works well, with the design emulating those coming from Fender at the time.
The guitar plays fairly well with a low action and a straight neck, and all the electrics work as intended.
A great playing 60s Hofner, includes a new hardshell case.
