Fender Japan Eric Clapton Blind Faith '62 sunburst Telecaster with Stratocaster maple.

This 26 year old Tele features a two piece center seam alder body, one piece solid maple neck, 21 vintage frets, 42mm nut, 25.5 scale, 7.25 radius, Fender USA vintage single coil pickups, and Gotoh vintage style tuners. The neck is straight as an arrow and there is some fret wear as seen in the pics. This guitar weighs 3.8 kgs or 8.3 lbs.

This Crafted in Japan 0 serial numbered guitar dates to 1999. The pickups are Fender USA vintage cloth wired neck and bridge single coil pickups. Featured is a Fender chrome telecaster bridge with spiral barrel t-saddles.

Pickup switching on this guitar is the same as on Clapton’s model:

Position 1: bridge + tone

Position 2: neck + tone

Position 3: neck + additional capacitor

Like Clapton's original Blind Faith Telecaster, this guitar is also wired in the same manner. Position 1 is the bridge pickup alone with tone knob function, Position 2 is the same for the neck pickup. Position 3 is the neck connected to an additional capacitor which Clapton calls "dark tone." As shown in the pics there are a few blemishes that don't take away from the beauty of the guitar.
