Gretsch Drums are built on the traditional "Gretsch Formula" 6-ply maple/gum shell with a distinctive "Silver Sealer" inner finish, a precision-formed 30-degree bearing edge, and a sturdy 4mm die-cast hoop.

Three outer finishes are available, each using time-honored techniques, including our hand-rubbed stain finish and nitrocellulose lacquer. Our Nitron finish offers even greater durability and is the highest standard in the industry.

USA CUSTOM Snare

Our custom drum building team in Ridgeland, South Carolina, employs time-honored, traditional finishing techniques, including hand-rubbed stain and nitrocellulose lacquer. They feature a well-balanced sound that spans a wide range from high to low end. They are also highly durable and flexible enough to fully bring out the characteristics of various drum heads. Gretsch drum shells are constructed of six-ply maple, with the inside of the shell coated in a silver finish known as a "Secret Silver Interior," creating a drum sound that is uniquely Gretsch. Equipped with die-cast hoops, they are a perfect match for the maple shells, producing a depth of sound that can only be expressed with Gretsch drums. The USA Custom Series is the most standard series in the Gretsch drum lineup, exuding a vintage feel.
