A fun, old resonator from the '30s!
This example dating to the late 1930s was made by Regal and was sold at the time as one of the lower end Dobro models. These feature a generously deep 'V' neck profile, and thanks to their wood body construction have quite a pleasant woody tone, accentuated by high end of the resonating cone. This particular example has been re-coned as well as its tuners replaced (both original parts included). No truss rods on these old Dobros, with this example showing a little forward bow. Would however make a great contender for slide playing!
Cosmetic condition is good for its age with wear present all throughout. No signs of previous repairs or any separations throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium-high action. Includes a hardcase.
