For sale or best offer is a 1964 Burns Double Six electric 12-string guitar. It has a green burst-finished maple body with a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. This is an early model, hand-made in London, before production moved to the United States with Baldwin.

This one, long ago, received several hardware upgrades, including a Rickenbacker-esque bridge with intonate-able saddles and Sperzel tuners. It comes with its original bridge, if that's preferred. It's middle pickup is its original Tri-Sonic, and its neck and bridge have been replaced (within its original covers) with Strat pickups. Its possible its bridge pickup is from the 1970s. It's also missing its plastic neck plate.

This guitar feels awesome - its string spacing is a bit wider than, say, a Rick 12, and more like an acoustic, so it's super comfortable and easy to get around. It sounds great, too - the pickups work really well in their positions. This 12 is a serious blast to play. It weighs 10 lbs, 9 oz.

It has been professionally setup and comes with its original hardshell case.
