The Boss BF-2 Flanger was the replacement to the original BF-1 from Roland. The BF-2 features the same control layout, however contains a modified circuit and 9v operation. The BF-2 was a lot thicker in sound than many flangers released in the 80's and was a favourite for those looking for less of a jet engine tone and more of a swelling tone.
