Several years ago our band decided to invest in a wireless monitoring system for live performance. Shortly thereafter the gigs dried up and it is sadly time to unload this gear.
This is a complete wireless monitoring system designed to provide musicians with a custom in-ear mix during live performance. It consists of five receivers and three transmitters, so that a band of five musicians can have up to three discrete mixes fed from the FOH board (for example, lead vocal, guitar-keys-backing vocal, and drum/bass). It also includes five sets of headphones: three are professional quality Audiofly IEMs, the other two are good-quality consumer grade headphones. There’s also a large bag of unused earbuds, charging cables and accessories. Everything is packed into a aluminum flight case as shown.
There is a lot of information on line about how to set these up. In our brief time using these we found them remarkably reliable and more than adequate for a gigging pub band. They have at least 90 ft of range and we were getting 4-5 hours of battery life in between recharging, plenty for most gigs.
To build this system from scratch would cost around A$2500. The electronics are all in nearly new (excellent) condition, headphones are very good to excellent.
