The Akai S2000 is a pro-level, user-expandable studio sampler built to evolve with your setup. Starting with 2MB of RAM (expandable to 32MB), it offers stereo or mono sampling at 22kHz to 44.1kHz, in 16- or 8-bit. With 32-voice polyphony, full MIDI, time compression, pitch shift, velocity control, and onboard disk and SCSI, it’s primed for serious work. Optional upgrades like digital I/O, multi-effects, EQ, filters, and extra outputs push it toward S3200 territory. Despite its small screen, external editors unlock its full power. Used by Moby, Underworld, and The Avalanches.
Fitted with OLED Gotek drive, and with the max 32MB RAM installed. 100 Volt Unit - requires step-down transformer for use in Australia. Includes thumb drive.
