For sale is an Electro-Voice DO56 featuring a shock mounted capsule, and also known for being very similar to the RE55, besides the much smaller form factor! This would make an excellent microphone for speech just like the RE55, and it comes at a steep discount as well. One difference you would find between the RE55 and the DO56 is the DO56 having a leaner bass response by a small margin.
The DO56 has more low end compared to something like an EV 635A, which makes a better choice for voice in my experience. Last thing to note is the foam inside this microphone has been replaced, so you will not have to worry about a single thing! This microphone was well cared for and will work beautifully for the new owner.
