All original vintage 1965 pre-CBS L serial Fender Mustang in gorgeous Daphne blue! This guitar from the first year of production is an absolute beauty! The neck is a beautiful flamed piece of maple with an equally stunning Brazilian rosewood fretboard!
As was customary of Fender workers to sign their names when assembling these guitars, Alice and Mel put this one together, and what a job! Action is great, pick-ups are full of presence and sparkle, and 55 years on this old girl still plays and sounds amazing.
The body and hardware has a real deal relic look and feel with lacquer checking and patina true to the guitars vintage and travels over the decades.
Pickups, pots, tuners and frets are all OG. May wish to do with a refret at some point but still plenty of life and plays great.
Comes with the original hard shell case (in good working and gigging order) and bar.
