Early production run of Gibson’s Brendan Small signature Explorer. This version features an ebony fingerboard (later editions were spec’d with richlite) and an inlaid Gibson logo (Unclear exactly when but this was changed to a silk screen at some point). In superb condition, very little playwear, one tiny blemish on the back of the top wing which looks like a paint smudge. Still has the plastic sheet in the pickguard and rear control plate. A very comfortable 7.7lbs, extremely loud unplugged. I’ve owned a number of Gibson explorers from a variety of time periods including vintage era, and this is the best I’ve encountered. I’ve included a few pictures detailing some superficial scuffs on the case. Shipping prices are dummy values, please contact me via message for a quote for your region.
