Up for grabs is a FOR PARTS / FOR REPAIR - AS IS FINAL SALE - 1982 Ibanez Maxon (era) CS-9 Stereo Chorus CIRCUIT BOARD with Mounted Parts, Width Potentiometer +Wires, 2 Other Wires, Power Jack. JAPAN. Some of the info on the very dark blue (it might be black) electrolytic can capacitor on the circuit board (SEE picture # 3) A8230 has the date year made - the number 82 is the year 1982.
SELLING AS IS / FOR PARTS / FOR YOUR PEDAL PROJECT / FINAL SALE / NO RETURNS. Please ask questions first. UNTESTED - But many of the component still work. There might be one or more components on the circuit board that might not work.
- I don't remember why I took this circuit board off the pedal. A while ago - I sold the actual other parts from the CS-9 Stereo Chorus Pedal that this item is from. But I have some used Ibanez parts availble for sale. More details about this are further down below.
What's pictured is what's for sale.
- Please message me if you need additional wires.
- Please mesage me if you're interested in purchasing any other parts.
The components and the parts on this circut board look fine. Just a few things to point out:
- The side of the board itself - with the components - just has light surface residue from when contact cleaner was sprayed (nothign serious).
- And the side with the solder connections has a couple of areas where there is not too serous again (brown discoloration around some of the solder - caused when the components were solder on).
I do NOT see any thing burned out.
NO Switch, NO OUT Jacks, NO IN Jack, NO LED, NO Other Wires, NO Battery Clip, and NO External Parts (which means NO Casing, NO Bottom Plate, NO Battery Cover, NO Knobs, NO Nuts, NO Washers, and NO Screws).
Refer to the pictures to see the conditon of this item and to see what's for sale in this isting.
==================
NOTE: On hand - available for sale upon request - I have used Ibanez: Knobs, IN and OUT jacks, generally clean Battery Clip, Screws, Nuts & Washers. I have have some new NON Ibanez battery clips.

Here's a REDDIT link (NOT mine) with information about the Ibanez CS 9 Stereo Chorus that has SEVEN pictures (FOUR of which show the parts inside the casing and the wires connection of an older CS9 pedal). This link s ONLY provided as a reference to assist you when you put YOUR parts on this Circuit Board and make YOUR pedal whole again.

This circuit board has SIX chips: SEE close up pictures of the chips (# 8 to # 12). Three of the chips are the same.
This is the information (value) on the WIDTH Potentiometer: M100KΩB 2N 6 (SEE pictures # 6 and # 7 - these pictures are of the same pot - just pictures taken from different angles to show all of the info on it).
The component side of the circuit board has this marking / info in black (SEE picture # 2): MAXON MP-CS0301B
- And in case you did not know - back in the 70s, 1980s, 1990s, and I'm pretty sure - even in the early 2000s - MAXON was a company that was affiliated with Ibanez.
It has TWO internal trimmers (SEE pictures # 16 and # 17). You use a small flat precision tool (like a very small flat screwdriver or something similar) to adjust it. You place the tool in the center hole and rotate clockwise - RIGHT or turn counter-clockwise - LEFT). NOTE: As you turn in each direction - there is a stopping point. Do NOT force to move beyond the stopping point. Stop and then go in other direction.
See close-up picture of the very dark blue (it might be black) electrolytic can capacitor on the circuit board. It is marked A8230 and the number 82 of this marking is the year 1982.
- This Analogman link shows you / gives you information on how to date certain pedal parts (internal components):
- analogman.com/tshist.htm
- Scroll down about 1/ 2 way to the section called: "Ts9 circuit parts."
- TS9 pedal is NOT for sale in the listing that you are looking at now. The info in the Analogman link are for reference and to educate you about this kind of info.
