I have literally owned every Fender Splattercaster color combo over the years but this is my favorite and probably the most rare. I have hesitated to list this fabulous looking Strat but at 77. I no longer play out and for the right price, I'd like to see someone else enjoy it. For me, aside from the incredible splatter paint job is the most amazing flame neck that I've ever seen on a MIM Fender----please look at the pics and know that they do not do it justice. I listed this Splattercaster as Mint because the only flaw I can find is a small ding on the back side of the headstock----if you think that reduces it to Excellent, I'll understand. The neck shows no fret wear and the fingerboard has a deep dark, brilliant rosewood hue---- rather than the wood they are using these days. Please check out all the pics to get a real idea of how brilliant and unique the colors and designs came out.

BTW, this Stratocaster sounds and plays great with fast, smooth, low action and has all the sounds everyone expects from a Fender Strat. I was told by the shop i bought it from that the tremelo bridge had been "upgraded"----I cannot verify this but it works fine.
