For sale is a 1965 Fender AB763 Super Reverb in excellent condition for its vintage. Original footswitch and high-quality padded Tuki Cover included. This is the best-sounding Super Reverb that we have seen at Mill River Music over the years and is a piece that bridges the gap between "closet collectible" and professional stage/studio rig.

Serial Number A06976 with original CTS pots and Schumacher transformers dating to mid 1964-early 1965. Pre-CBS 'Fender Musical Inst. Co." on the faceplate, original manufacturer tag intact that reads 'Production #2 OF' and corresponds to June 1965. Two vintage ceramic speakers, two modern Weber USA Signature Series Ceramics that sound superb, ready for the stage with no tears or artifacts. These amps are usually paired with alnico speakers, but these ceramics really allow you to hear the full range of the amp and enjoy some extra clarity overall. Gorgeous, pristine cleans with great headroom, lush reverb and tremolo effects working well and sweet, dynamic compression when overdriven. The power supply was professionally recapped, a few small electrolytics replaced, three-prong power cable conversion, matching JJ tube set with one vintage RCA 5AR4 rectifier. The reverb tank was replaced with a three-spring that sounds lush with a deep, unique response. Backplate is unoriginal.
