Ibanez AS53 Artcore Semihollow Guitar
Excellent condition.
Bought new in 2012. Never gigged. Always kept in case.
One of the better 'cheap' ES-335 type guitars around.
Nicely set-up and plays beautifully. Feels like a more expensive guitar.
Body, neck, centre block all made from Sapele (Mahogany-like timber).
Fingerboard is rosewood.
Neck has a 12" radius with jumbo frets.
Colour is Transparent Black which reveals the underlying woodgrain in certain light (See photos)
Guitar has a few mods
- Original pickups swapped for set of Tonerider modern humbuckers
- Original tuners replaced with Grover Mini Rotomatics (German made)
- Original nut was replaced with a bone nut by a luthier
- Bridge has had a few adjustments to improve the action
Guitar is dusty and pickups have a little residue build-up but there are no blemishes/marks etc
Fingerboard has been well maintained with lemon oil and the frets are in good shape.
Comes with hard case shown (Epiphone Dot Case).
