The FaitalPRO HF146R compression horn driver has an exit diameter of 1.4 inches and utilizes a neodymium radial slug design to maximize magnetic field density in the voice coil gap. This, paired with its ketone polymer dome diaphragm, results in a rich balanced sound across a wide frequency range from 700Hz and up . The HF146R has a slightly longer voice coil winding than the HF146 which lessens compression and improves dynamics at high power. It can produce 111 dB SPL with just 1 watt of input power and boasts an average sensitivity of 109 dB, while weighing less than 5 pounds. The driver features an annular phase plug and is manufactured in Italy.
