Synth has been serviced and tested in accordance to the Test Mode function in the Service Manual.
All keys and aftertouch work. No sticky red goo key issue on this JD800.
There are no issues with the D/A Converter - it has already been adjusted to minimise distortion.
LCD Display is bright.
No scratchy pots or sliders, no intermittent button contact issues either.
Latest ROM version 1.02
It is currently set for 240V operation. The mains transformer can be easily set to 240V, 230V, 120V or 100V mains power supply.
You can only expand the real JD800 synth with the PCM WAVEFORMs - the software (Zenology/Cloud) and boutique JD-08 versions do not have the facility to do that.
