The Schatten RP-1 Remote Power Module is a heavily built ABS box that holds two 9 volt batteries (not included) to provide 18 volts DC of outboard power for the Schatten Artist II endpin jack preamp in the absense of phantom power.
The RP-1 requires the use of the specially configured CAB-1 cable (not included) to connect from the Artist II preamp on your instrument to the XLR input jack on the RP-1 power module. The RP-1 includes a female XLR input jack (from guitar, using CAB-1 cable) for signal and power pathways and a standard 1/4″ output jack (to amplifier). A standard 1/4″ mono instrument cable (not included) can then be used to connect the RP-1 to your amplifier.
Compatible with all Schatten Artist II series preamps as well as with all Schatten pickups that use the Artist II preamps, including the HFN-A, RG-03A and TC-A pickups.
