Excellent condition with no notable scratches, repair history, or lacquer loss, apart from a few small dings and light scuffs. Interior cleaned, soft parts replaced, and serviced throughout.

Queen Brass was born from a collaboration between Hoxon, which supplies instruments and parts to brands worldwide, and Sanada Trading, a longtime importer of high-end Western brass brands. This flugelhorn is packed with practical features useful on the gig.

Unlike a typical flugelhorn, the main tuning slide is placed at the front like a trumpet. Tuning can also be adjusted at the mouthpipe side, giving flexibility for different setups, and the easy access to the tubing helps with routine cleaning. A trumpet-shank mouthpipe is also included; pairing it with a deeper-cup trumpet mouthpiece may improve intonation and control.

The 152mm red brass bell produces a soft, smooth, warm sound with a nicely focused core, while the clear lacquer finish adds clear articulation. It blends naturally not only in jazz and solo settings but also in concert bands and ensembles. Not overly sweet, it is a versatile voice for a wide range of situations. Easy to play, practical, and with a warm flugelhorn tone — a well-balanced, highly complete model, whether as a first flugelhorn or a main instrument.
