Orange Custom Shop 50
50w Valve Amp Head
In excellent as new condition and full working order
The Orange Custom Shop 50 is a premium, flagship UK-handwired single-channel valve amplifier head designed for purists seeking classic British rock and blues tones. Built point-to-point with heavy-gauge copper wiring, it focuses on touch-sensitive dynamics and a highly organic signal path. It features Orange's iconic vintage "Pics Only" front panel layout, using graphic symbols rather than text labels for its controls Output Modes: Switchable between a highly touch-sensitive 30-watt Class A mode (delivering clear, bell-like chime) and a punchier, warmer 50-watt Class AB mode Tube Layout: Driven by two ECC83/12AX7 preamp valves and two EL34 power amp valves
HF Drive Control: A unique knob that blends traditional presence with power-amp negative feedback, sharpening upper harmonics and top-end bite when pushed Footswitchable EQ Lift: Bypasses the active tone stack entirely to yield a raw, massive boost in volume and gain—perfect for driving solos directly from the amplifier
No Effects Loop: Purposely omitted to preserve an uncompromised, purist all-analogue signal path
