Good condition 1982 Hiwatt DR504 50-watt guitar amplifier head in black. All original outside of the missing back plate and a few extra screw holes. This example has some travel wear on the front right side of the head as pictured, but is obviously cosmetic and does not affect the sound of the head whatsoever. This specific example sounds incredible, and is very loud. Truly one of the best guitar amplifiers ever made. This example also sounds very smooth with a very sweet top end tone, while sounding very chunky in the low end when played through a 4x12 guitar cabinet. All internal electronics and tubes have been tested to be in perfect working order and sound great. Switches are solid and not loose. The top handle is in good condition and holds the head nicely when carried, so no drop worries there. All in all, this is a nicely played and kept example, and would be ready for the stage and studio for another 50+ years. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
