Here’s a rare gem from the 1970s, an original Shure SM54 microphone in very nice condition. It’s fully tested, works flawlessly, and has no major wear. This low impedance studio mic delivers that classic warm and smooth tone that results in a rich sound.
Some say vintage mics have weak output, but not this one. The signal is strong, clear, and sounds just like it should. The smooth high-end makes it perfect for taming harsh vocals or instruments, and it really works for many sources.
The SM54 is also a step up from the SM53 thanks to its larger internal pop filter design. Speaking of which, this one has been fully cleaned inside and out.
