This is a highly desirable early-run model featuring the stamped metal rear chassis text ("Jim Marshall (Products) LTD, Bletchley, England") and the early 6-digit engraved serial number (701245) rather than the later mid-90s barcode stickers. I believe the internal chassis stamp (35 27104) dates this build to late August 1991, just a year and a half after the JCM 900 series launched.

The 4500 is famous for its independent dual-channel architecture, offering crystal-clean tones on Channel A and soaring, high-gain Marshall crunch on Channel B, backed by true spring reverb.

Serviced in 2021 (Bench-tested, cleaned, and fully checked by a technician). Has been safely stored in a smoke-free environment and unplayed since its
2021 service.

Cosmetics: Good condition for its age (please see photos for typical minor wear and tear, it’s in great condition considering its age).

Functionality: Fully operational, sounds massive, and ready to plug in and play.

Local pick up but can be made available if you’d like to arrange a courier.
