The Modor NF-1 is a digital DSP synth that nods to classic virtual analogue architecture while pushing well beyond it. It follows the familiar formula of oscillators, filters and effects, all shaped by LFOs and envelopes, but each building block has been completely reimagined in the digital domain.
Alongside a classic 12dB/oct resonant filter, the NF-1 introduces a versatile formant filter rarely seen in hardware. Traditional waveforms like sawtooth are joined by newly developed noisy wave shapes, expanding its tonal range far past standard VA territory. Even the chorus and delay go deeper than expected, with fully editable parameters that allow for unconventional and experimental effects.
