Vintage 22" Yamaha Power V Bass Drum – Made in England (Premier Era, 1989-1992)
This is a rare, highly sought-after Yamaha Power V Bass Drum, proudly stamped "Made in England". Produced between 1989 and 1992, this drum was built at the historic Premier factory after Yamaha brought their elite Japanese engineering to the UK. Drummers chase these specific "Premier-era" shells because they feature a powerhouse hybrid blend of Philippine mahogany and a premium birch interior lining. It sounds absolutely thunderous.
This drum is a player's piece with incredible soul. It has typical pedal-clamp rash on the batter-side wooden hoop and is missing one rubber foot on a spur (an easy $5 fix). Structurally, the shell is round, the lugs are solid, and it is ready to rock.
