The MV50 Clean uses VOX's Nutube 6P1 in its preamp section, combining tube-based response and harmonics with a highly efficient solid-state power amplifier. Despite weighing only about 1.2 lbs, the MV50 can deliver up to 50 watts RMS into a 4-ohm cabinet.

The Clean model is particularly well suited to clean playing, pedalboards, home practice, recording, and situations where plenty of clean headroom is desired.
