The shell is made of aluminum with a chrome plating?commonly known as "Radialloy."
The hoop is an original 10-tension pressed steel hoop.

It combines a light, high-pitched tone with a solid, well-defined sound while maintaining a soft quality, offering an exquisite balance between a clear projection and the full-bodied midrange characteristic of Radick.
Itfs a pleasant snare with the bright, crisp, and tight feel characteristic of the Super Sensitive series.

Itfs in good condition, with only very slight plating wear; there are some minor scratches, dirt, and pits, but the metal parts are in perfect order.
Three of the set screws for attaching the snare guard are missing, but they appear to have been reinforced with adhesive.
All parts are original; the switches function properly and the sound is excellent.
This vintage snare drum is in a condition that allows you to use it with confidence.
