Tesla EVK 326 1970

A genuinely special and extremely rare pair of vintage TESLA EVK 326 modules, dating from the 1970s and housed in a beautiful handmade two-channel timber lunchbox with dedicated power supply.

These are wonderful old transformer-based European modules with enormous character very much in that vintage Neve/API territory, with the weight, colour and personality that makes discrete analogue gear like this so desirable.

The EVK 326s are exceptionally difficult to find, particularly as a working, ready-to-use pair like this. Rather than loose modules requiring somebody to engineer a rack and power supply around them, these have already been integrated into a superb self-contained two-channel unit.

The enclosure itself is gorgeous: handmade timber construction with exposed ply detailing, giving the whole unit a wonderfully distinctive vintage/studio aesthetic. It really is one of those pieces of equipment that looks as special as it sounds.

I’m genuinely reluctant to sell this pair, but I still have 10 channels of these modules installed in another rack, so I’ve finally decided I can let this two-channel setup go.
