ZVEX Super Hard On Vexter Series boost pedal featuring the older horizontal King Kong artwork, complete with its original serial-numbered box.

The Super Hard On is an ultra-transparent, high-input-impedance boost designed to make the guitar signal sound bigger and clearer without imposing a strong tonal character of its own. It can be used for clean volume lift, restoring sparkle lost through longer signal chains, driving another pedal harder or pushing the front end of an amplifier into natural overdrive.

Its single “Crackle Okay” control adjusts the boost level. As the name indicates, the control normally produces a crackling sound while being turned; this is an inherent characteristic of the circuit’s negative-feedback gain control and does not indicate a faulty potentiometer.

This version also provides two parallel outputs, making it suitable for feeding two amplifiers or separate signal paths.

Condition: Very Good.

The pedal is fully functional and presents well, with ordinary signs of use. Two strips of Velcro are fitted to the underside and are clearly shown in the photographs.
