60s No. 404 Acrolite 14x5 1960s
A classic Radick model, the aluminum Acrolite 404 snare drum.
Serial number 693843; based on the date stamp inside the shell, it is believed to have been manufactured in 1969.
With a short decay and bright tone, this iconic Radick snare drum combines a funky, tight sound
mild, wood-like character.
The Acrolite is lightweight, easy to handle, and highly popular.
In particular, models from the 1960s?perhaps due to the thinner shell finish?produce a more open and mellow sound.

This particular drum has not been modified in any way and features all original parts, except for consumables.
Although the switch knob is slightly bent, it functions perfectly well and poses no issues for use.

There are a few minor shell dents and fine scratches here and there, but overall, it shows little damage and gives the impression of being a fine example for a 1960s model.
This vintage snare drum is in a condition that allows you to use it with confidence.
